Haus Karamarko in Recklinghausen

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food delicious and a lot. However, I would have liked fresh chanterelles at this time of year. 8 euros for watery frozen goods is not ok. Prices for the food excellent. Normal drinks but too expensive. Overall, however, recommendable. Gladly again.

Very good friendly service. Very good hygiene concept. The restaurant is lovingly furnished and very clean. The food is good and the portions are adequate. Highly recommended for friends of Balkan cuisine (or international cuisine).

The house Karamarko has a wonderful stylish beer garden and the salad buffet also stands out positively. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the drinks that day and the ice cream sundae was only brought after 30 minutes, while all the other desserts came much earlier. However, it has to be said that the restaurant was well attended that day and that the staff has always remained friendly despite this stressful situation. This time we were a little disappointed with the food. Since we've been guests there for three years now, it has to be said that the quality of the food has declined.

We stayed here for a cozy evening to celebrate a birthday. Everything played along, the ambience, the staff, the food, dealing with Corona and the weather. You would be served excellently with a smile and "wit". It was just lovely. One would have to wait a long time for such a carefree moment.

Simply without saying a pleasant ambience the staff also feel at home. The food is excellent fresh and delicious. Greetings to the owners of the Berko family.

Poor

We have been guests at Haus Karamarko for a long time and often. Unfortunately we have become more and more dissatisfied with every visit over the past 2-3 years. The food is really great, but the service is getting cooler, more impersonal and just worse. Today we decided not to go there anymore. Too bad, was our favorite place.

Good kitchen with a well-filled menu. For every main course there is a salad from the buffet. Unfortunately we lack a vegetarian main course offer. The beer garden is very nice and generous. Bowling alley is also available. Reservations on the weekend are recommended.

After visiting Haus Karamarko  for the first time in 2016,  we insisted to my wife's cousin that we return to this restaurant when we visited her in Germany last year.   What an elegant place to go in a small village to impress your guests.  Its  decor, food, and service are all outstanding.   Since we decided where to go, we happily  picked up the tab.   Worth every Euro spent.   After a two year absence, the wait staff recognized us immediately and treated us like Very Important People (VIPs) on arrival, while we dined and when we departed.   Without hesitation, i highly recommend Haus Karamarko.  It is my favorite restaurant anywhere,  in Germany or USA.

Nice restaurant with a great beer garden, very friendly staff, good portions, great salad buffet! Special requests are not a problem. Simply delicious :-)
